The Gift of Sacrifice

The Gift of Sacrifice

In the picture above, there’s a gift wrapped in red and tied with ribbon. A white card dangles from its side. Let’s think for a moment what this could represent. When we think of God, the first thing that comes to mind is Christ’s sacrifice for us. Even though we didn’t deserve the shedding of His blood for our sins, when He died on the cross, it was a gift. A free gift of salvation for all.

Now, let’s look at this gift differently. Is there something you can sacrifice for others around you, being an example of what Christ did for you? Whose name would you write on the card?
